Is G2 worth it?

G2 is a software review site that buyers use to research products. A basic profile is free: you request a listing, G2's research team verifies it, and you claim the profile. The link from the profile was dofollow when we checked. Its value grows with real reviews.

How to submit, step by step

  1. Use G2's request form for a new product listing. G2 says its research team verifies the product in about 3 to 5 business days and places it in a category.
  2. Once the profile is live, submit a claim request. G2 says it reviews claims within 1 to 3 business days.
  3. Complete the profile: description, screenshots, pricing and features.
  4. Invite real users to leave reviews. Never write, buy or trade reviews.
