Is Product Hunt worth it?

Product Hunt is free and has one of the strongest audiences for new tools, but a launch is a one-day event. It pays off when you prepare the page in advance and can answer comments all day. The link from your product page was dofollow when we checked.

How to submit, step by step

  1. Use a personal account. Company accounts cannot post, and new accounts have to finish onboarding before they can post.
  2. Click to submit a new product and enter your website, name and a short tagline.
  3. Write the description (Product Hunt asks for up to 260 characters), pick topics and set the pricing tag.
  4. Add a square thumbnail (240 × 240 recommended; a GIF must be under 3 MB) and at least two gallery images (1270 × 760 recommended). A YouTube video is optional.
  5. Write your first comment: who you are, why you built it and what feedback you want.
  6. Schedule the launch for a day you can be online. Every day starts at 12:01 AM Pacific time.

Tips
